This project allowed me to gain experience developing a strategic social-media marketing plan in an agency setting with an actual client. Consideration was given to the evolving social-media environment and its influence. At the close of the project, my group pitched our marketing plans to the client.
Along the way, I learned the theory behind social networks and examined how such networks are used by BOTH consumers and marketers. I practiced conducting social- media audits, creating social-media campaigns, developing tactics for engaging customers across relevant social-media channels and determining how to manage and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Throughout the production of this plan I got certified in HubSpot Academy for SEO, Hootsuite Academy, and got exposed to Klear.com (now apart of Meltwater) to track social media accounts and their interactions.
